Using his gift of drumming, Redmond presents an entertaining, motivational and educational event that highlights the mindset needed to succeed in the game of life. He drives home the universal concepts behind “CRASH”: Commitment – Relationships – Attitude – Skill – Hunger.

Teen musician and Caddo Magnet junior Matthew Davidson was the local connection for
bringing this presentation to his school. Last summer, Davidson was selected by The
Grammy Foundation to attend Grammy Camp in Nashville, TN. This week-long program
is designed to provide young musicians with insight and experience in music industry
topics. Rich Redmond was one of the guest mentors at Grammy Camp. Redmond met with the campers, talking to them about the realities of life as a touring musician and then
jamming with them for a while.

As the drumming powerhouse behind Grammy-nominated Jason Aldean, Rich Redmond
has recorded 18 #1 singles with sales well over the 20 million mark. As a high-energy live
showman, Redmond plays sold-out shows of 20-65,000 fans nightly in amphitheaters,
arenas and stadiums across the world.

Redmond began playing drums at age 8 and eventually played in the prestigious 1:00 Lab Band at The University of North Texas. Receiving his Master's Degree in Music Education, Redmond now combines his classical training and 'street smarts' musicianship to bring his passion-filled drumming to the world.

Redmond’s first book, “FUNdamentals of Drumming For Kids ages 5-10” is published by Modern Drummer and is an Amazon best seller.

Redmond will be on the drums at CenturyLink Center in Bossier City, LA for Jason
Aldean’s “Burn it Down” concert on Thursday, February 19 at 7:30 pm.
