Herndon Magnet School Closes Due to Power Outage

Herndon Magnet School, a kindergarten through 8th grade school in Belcher, closed earlier today due to a power outage.

Parents of students were notified via the district’s student information system, JPAMS, and students were either picked up by parents or guardians or were transported to their afternoon drop off locations.

SWEPCO is working to restore power at the campus and classes are expected to resume Tuesday.
