The Springhill-North Webster Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the Holiday season and is taking applications for floats in its Christmas Parade. This year's theme will be "A Cajun night Before Christmas." The parade runs through the streets of Springhill, LA on Saturday, November 26, and guarantees to be lots of fun for the whole family!

If you have a business or organization that would like to participate in the parade with your very own float, the Chamber does have some guidelines:

We want you to bring a little Cajun style to Christmas this year! We are asking businesses to have float for children to enjoy. Please no Santa on your float! Santa will be arriving at the end of the parade.

The Parade Line up will form at South Main Mall at approximately 4:30 PM and the parade will start promptly at 5:00 PM. the parade route will travel North on Main Street, turn right onto Clinic Street at the Department of Motor Vehicles, turn right on 1st Street pass by Carrington Place and finish at South Main Mall parking lot.

The “Christmas on Main” festivities will immediately follow so make plans to stay and enjoy the Christmas spirit and make some family memories! Please call (318)539-4717 for information.

In addition to all of the good times, all floats will be entered into a competition wherein 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Plaques will be awarded for presentation of Theme.

If you would like to participate in the parade, call the Springhill-North Webster Chamber of Commerce by Monday, November 21, 2016 at (318)539-4717.
