Hooked on Fishing is an annual event that introduces kids to the basics of fishing and boating & water safety.
Kids will rotate through several stations to:
-Compete in a fishing tournament with help from the Louisiana Greater Caddo Lake Association
-Identify common fish and practice casting with Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries
-See a live alligator from Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park
-Learn about safety on and off the water with our local heroes at-

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Headquarters
-Make a fun craft with Shreveport Green
Lunch will provided for all participating children by Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation with help from the Oil City Rotary Club.
