Lovely… People are playing Pokemon Go while driving… and some are playing while driving drunk. Two different people got in accidents doing just that over the weekend in Wisconsin. Thankfully, no one was badly hurt.

Another man was arrested in in Harlingen, TX over the weekend for posting on Facebook that he and his friends were going to ‘purge’ Pokemon Go players using modified paint guns.

There is a positive side to Pokemon though! A children’s hospital in Michigan is using the app as a way to get the kids up and moving. After all, kids that have to spend a lot of time in a hospital room can get pretty depressed and getting out and socializing with other kids has got to help!

In other Pokemon news, there are now apps that use crowdsourcing to help you find elusive Pokemon characters like Poke Radar and Helper for Pokemon Go. At least developers other than the folks at Nintendo are getting paid!

Star Trek Beyond is opening this weekend and according to J.J. Abrams, it’ll be the last movie with Chekov in it after the passing of Anton Yelchin last month in a freak accident.

It’s official! Game of Thrones fans will have to wait until next summer (2017) to see the seventh season and it’ll only be seven episodes long.

If Brett Eldredge won’t be a contestant in The Bachelor franchise, Chris Lane sounds like he’s game. He’s a big fan of The Bachelorette and says he’s too busy right now but maybe when things settle down he could be a contestant?
