Dez Duron Garners Some of the Highest Votes for Team Christina on The Voice

Dez Duron is a bonafide star!  Course, its no surprise to those of us who have watched the son of Denny and Deanza Duron grow up singing for Shreveport Community Church literally since he was old enough to carry the microphone.  Tonight his "star status" was confirmed on national television as he was one of two contestants from Team Christina receiving the highest amount of votes on NBC's "The Voice" in the Live Play-offs, Part 2, and is guaranteed at least one more week in the competition.  Watch the entire episode HERE if you missed it live on NBC.

I remember that cute little boy literally owning the stage in the annual "Songs of the Season" at the Strand Theater, but the stage he graces now is MUCH larger....and yet, he still owns it.   Get 'em Dez.  All of us back home are extremely proud of the art you bring to our television, but we're more proud of the man you've become and the Christian heart that beats within you.  Thank you for making us look so good.
