Someone way smarter than me once said, "You might be the only Bible someone ever reads."  If that's the case, I hope all of America's military will get to read the book of Cheryl Cole.

Cheryl is this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient and the letter we received from her husband Brian, is just the tip of the iceberg of why she's so worth of this recognition!

When kids grow up, join the military and move away, their moms tend to really miss them. Especially at holidays and their birthdays. Cheryl tries to fill that gap during the birthdays...she is a member of a facebook group called Operation Birthday Hug. Mothers will tell of their child's upcoming birthday here at Barksdale AFB and Cheryl and her friends will go get balloons and a cake and deliver them with a hug! What joy it brings to their mothers to see pictures and videos of their child getting these special hugs. Cheryl was so moved the first couple times giving hugs that she has spent hours organizing the lists of volunteers at other bases worldwide so mothers all over can see their children get birthday hugs! The operation has grown to over 2,600 members, many because of Cheryl's efforts. While she's not giving hugs, she volunteers her time at the Airman's Attic on Barksdale. It's a thrift store on base where airman can go get donated household items for free. In addition she loves children and teaches preschool and Sunday school at Broadmoor Baptist Church.

Cheryl Cole, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Cheryl to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
