In a notice we just received from the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, a missing Benton woman is the subject of a search and the Sheriff's office could use your help locating this woman.

In the notice we read:

The family of Mary Elizabeth Nicole Beeson, 19, of the 1200 block of Bay Ridge Drive in Benton, filed a missing person’s report for Mary Elizabeth on Tuesday (April 25) with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office.  The family is concerned about her welfare, since they have not seen her since she left their Benton residence on April 18 when she departed on a Greyhound bus from Shreveport on her own free will.

On April 19, Mary Elizabeth was contacted in person by the Texarkana Police Department, and that same day, she spoke by phone with her family.  At that time, she said she doing okay and simply wanted to be on her own.  However, she has not been in contact with law enforcement nor the family since.

Mary Elizabeth is white female, 5’ 10”, 145 pounds, athletic build, with red hair and no tattoos or piercings.  She goes by “Lizzy” or “M.E.”  She also has Asperger’s syndrome.

The family and Bossier Sheriff’s Office are concerned with her welfare and want to ensure Mary Elizabeth is safe; they are also working closely with the Texarkana Police Department on the investigation.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mary Elizabeth, please contact the Bossier Sheriff’ Office at (318) 965-2203.
