Labor Day Weekend in Shreveport Has Lots of Fun Activities
Shreveport-Bossier residents have a variety of fun activities to choose from for this Labor Day holiday weekend. While I’d rather eat meatloaf for Sunday dinner today than see the rock group Meat Loaf in concert, fans can see them live tonight at the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel.
Other events include the 2012 Louisiana Cup Rumble On the Red that’s going on through Monday at Fairground Fields. You’ll enjoy baseball games between teams from all over the U.S., competing against each other in their own age divisions.
There are three different groups classified by age: 18 and older; 25 and older, and 35 and over. The tournament is open to any team that fits its age requirement and pays an entry fee.
The games are free to spectators and they’re held at the fairgrounds, Centenary College, and LSU-Shreveport.
