On March 4th, 2023, around 9:30 p.m. Shreveport Police Community Response Units conducted a traffic stop at College Street and Highland Avenue while conducting patrols in the area to deter violent crime.

During the traffic stop by members of the Shreveport Police CRU team, Decovious Wilson (10/25/99) and Deandro Harris (10/29/96) were found to be in possession of Firearms. Further investigation determined that both Harris and Wilson were prohibited from owning a firearm due to having convictions for violent felony offenses.

The firearm was seized by the officers and both Harris and Wilson were arrested for one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

We are required to advise that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
