In a surprise performance on Wednesday night in Nashville to celebrate the CMA Awards, legendary Country star Tim McGraw was joined on stage by an artist who will eventually be a legend in his own right.

To celebrate the eve of Thursday's CMA Awards, Tim McGraw was joined on stage, to everyone's surprise, by R&B superstar Ne-Yo.

The two performed Ne-Yo's newest single, "She Is" which features McGraw.

After the performance, Ne-Yo told reporters, "For me, I feel like in another life I might've been a country artist."
