This golf course is relatively undiscovered, but it may be the most fun to play in the area.

Recently, I absolutely fell in love with a relatively unknown golf course to Shreveport golfers... The Challenge at Cypress Hills.

Even though I'm an absolutely terrible golfer, I enjoy the game. To be completely honest with you, I enjoy the calmness of the game. I enjoy a stroll on freshly-cut grass on a Sunday morning, with the illusions that just maybe I would hit a golf ball well that day.
Spoiler alert: I never hit the golf ball well.

However, there's something special, to me, about the unknown, and every day before a round of golf, it's the unknown. To me, anyway.

After becoming a little bored with the repetitive play at our wonderful, local courses, I desperately wondered west-bound in search of a golf solution... What I found was The Challenge at Cypress Hills in Marshal, Tx. Now, I want to point out that it's not very far at all... Only about 15 minutes away from our studios here on Pines road in Shreveport.

This course is not professional level, please do not think I'm saying that. What I am saying, however, is that it's an unbelievably fun course to play. So fun in fact, that I would rank it on the fun-factor higher than most courses in Shreveport-Bossier.

The bottom line is, if you're not golfing at The Challenge, you are missing out. I'm there every single weekend, and chances are, if you come out, you'll run into me... Or one of my wildly inaccurate tee-balls.
