I saw Naomi and Wynonna Judd on Fox News this morning when I was getting ready for work. The ladies were on Fox promoting their new "behind the scenes" show on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). Following their awkward moment during the ACM presentations, the Judds never fail to give viewers drama.

I personally tire easily of drama. My intolerance of "drama overload" is one of the reasons I cannot watch an entire episode of "The Bachelor". But, one element that continues to intrigue me regarding the Judds is the relationship between Ashley Judd and her mother/sister duo. Ashley just released an autobiography where she alleges sexual abuse during her childhood, a subject that her mother and sister eloquently dodged when directly asked about it this morning on Fox News. It appeared to be a well rehearsed avoidance. I did see one behind the scenes episode of Oprah's final season where the Judds were Oprah's guest. Any talk about Ashley Judd was on the list of "do not ask" questions that the singers gave Oprah's staff.

The most confusing thing is: Ashley is talking about her past in her book. Maybe this is all a grand Judd marketing scheme. . to create more interest for people like me. . and it is working. They are going to get me to buy that book and in the audience for the reunion tour. Dang it! I've been schnookered!

Are you going to watch? Sunday 8 Central on OWN.  (I also posted one of my favorite Judd songs below, enjoy!)
