Textbook Changes – iPads To Be Used In Desoto Parish Schools Next Year

Apple announced earlier this year that it’s digital textbooks available on the iPad would revolutionize the education system. And Kiss Country schools will be part of the revolution as the Desoto Parish School system plans to issue iPads to all High School students next year.

According to the Shreveport Times, the iPads will be issued with all of the textbooks preloaded, and the teachers will be able to utilize teaching apps. I think back to my huge, cumbersome, heavy backpack that I lugged around during school and how my lower back would have appreciated the convenience of "iLearning".
