There a few new movies opening today. Since it’s Valentines Day I’m sure many women will be dragging their guys to the theaters to see the two new romantic dramas "Endless Love" or "Winter's Tale". If you’re more in the mood for a romantic comedy “About Last Night” may provide you with a laugh but if you’re not into the holiday and want to see a guy shoot em up film the remake
I love the Olympics!! I look forward to it every 2 years and the winter games are in full effect. The only thing I hate about the coverage is that since it’s in Sochi and we all work we can’t watch it live. Diamond Jacks Crown Ballroom was the place to be Friday night. It was the 13th anniversary for the Krewe des Ambassadeurs ball and the folks from Minden know how to party!! The event had by far the biggest throw of the season. No one walked away with less than five specialized strands from the royalty. The royalty of course looked AMAZING!!!

There were a number of stars on hand last night in Washington DC for the Presidents State of the Union Address. Louisiana natives Willie and Korie Robertson were by far the most popular. The Duck Dynasty CEO was the special guest of Louisiana Rep. Vance McAllister who extended the invite as a thank you for throwing his support behind McAllister last year, helping to propel the congressman to victo
The hour-long drive from Bossier City was worth the trip thanks to the very kind folks in Springhill. The Krewe of Artemis celebrated their 12th year by getting everyone dancing.
The Krewe of Justinian celebrated it’s 20th anniversary last Friday with a night NO ONE will soon forget. The Grand Balls theme “One Crazy, Wicked Night in Emerald City” was just that. The group of lawyers went all out this year with everything from real life “flying monkeys” to bringing in the awesome Limelight Band from Dallas.
