Gary Allan is certainly at the top of his game. Following his career-high debut with his latest album, 'Set You Free,' the 'Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)' singer received word that his upcoming concerts at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium -- two of them -- sold out within minutes of going on sale.

Frank Dycus, the man who helped write hit songs like 'Marina del Ray' for George Strait and 'Gonna Get a Life' for Mark Chesnutt, has died. The songwriter had over 500 songs published during a 45-year career that included many works with frequent Strait songwriter Dean Dillon.

On Monday (Feb. 17), Gary Allan held a special press conference from his Nashville clothing store the Label, where he discussed the exciting year ahead — including his headlining spot on the 2012 Country Throwdown Tour. Sitting by Allan’s side during the press meeting were Country Throwdown Tour creators Sarah Baer and Kevin Lyman of 4Fini’s.
