Officers conducting the traffic stop determined that Brooks was operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and was in possession of marijuana.

On November 17, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., Shreveport Police Department officers were dispatched to 6479 Oak Valley Drive in response to a report of shots fired.

This arrest is yet another example of how the Shreveport Police Department continues to pursue those prohibited from possessing firearms.

Further investigation into the matter revealed that the firearm had been altered to be fully automatic.
