Attempted Murder

Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit have arrested a man for cutting an officer in the throat with a box cutter in an attempt to evade an arrest early in the day Monday.

The Officer was off duty and faces some serious charges.

According to the Shreveport Police Department Mary Chapple 39 from Shreveport transported her husband Shelby Chapple, 25 also from Shreveport to Willis Knighton Hospital.
