Southfield School to Host Holiday Program ‘The Old Toy Shop’ This Week

Southfield School’s holiday program "The Old Toy Shop" featuring students in Preschool 3 through 5th Grade, the Eagle Singers and String Ensemble, will be presented at 9:00 am this Thursday and Friday, December 17 and 18 in the school gym at 1100 Southfield Road in Shreveport.

The Holiday Program is directed, produced and choreographed by Southfield’s music instructor, Debbie Davis, who has been with Southfield School for 40 years. This years production will feature all the magic of a winter wonderland with dancing and singing students creatively costumed as candies, elves, gift packages, ballerina’s, toy soldiers and stuffed animals.

The children will perform many songs through sleigh rides, marches, choirs and toy bands.
