Shreveport Woman Arrested for Pulling Gun on Someone
On May 23rd, 2023, at 11:55 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a domestic trouble call in the 500 block of Lynbrook Boulevard. On arrival, the responding officers learned that two females were involved in an altercation.
Further investigation revealed that a female identified as Arlisha Owens (2-23-84) reportedly threatened the victim with a handgun.
Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner.
Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, economic, psychological, or technological actions or threats of actions or other patterns of coercive behavior that influence another person within an intimate partner relationship.
This includes any behaviors that intimidate, manipulate, humiliate, isolate, frighten, terrorize, coerce, threaten, blame, hurt, injure, or wound someone.
Owen was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.
We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
