Shreveport Police Seek Two Men as Suspects in Weekend Shooting
On Saturday April 30th, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to the 200 block of Prospect Street on reports of a shooting. Arriving officers located a man inside of a vehicle that was suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital with what was described as life threatening injuries.
Investigators with the Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Units were summoned to the scene. CSIU collected items of evidence and investigators canvassed the neighborhood searching for witnesses and video.
Through their on-going investigation detectives were able to obtain information that led them to the development of two suspects. On May 1st, 2022, Detectives obtained warrants charging Elijah Williams (6/8/99) with Principal to Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Thomas Office(12/15/2001) with Attempted 1st Degree Murder.
