Shreveport Police have arrested a man who is accused of tattooing multiple juveniles. He is facing three charges related to these crimes.

On Saturday, February 25th, 2023, Shreveport police made contact with 22-year-old Alejandro Reyes after they were contacted about an adult male that had tattooed multiple juveniles. The officers responded to the "New Ink Tattoo" shop where they arrested Reyes.

Based on the information they gathered during the investigation, Shreveport Police believe Reyes tattooed three female juveniles, without consent of their parents. In addition, police discovered that Reyes is not licensed to perform tattooing.

Reyes has been charged with three counts of Tattooing or Piercing of a Minor. If found guilty, he faces up to five hundred dollars in fines and up to one year behind bars, per charge. However Shreveport Police have stated that their investigation is ongoing, and more charges can be added.

Because of changes to Louisiana law, Reyes' mugshot is not available.
