Shreveport Man Arrested for Aggravated Flight From Police

On June 27th, 2023, around 6:54 p.m. officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black Acura at Booker T Street and Broadway Avenue. The vehicle refused to stop, and a pursuit ensued.

The vehicle abruptly stopped, and the driver fled into an apartment complex in the 4300 block of Illinois Street. Officers were able to locate the apartment the fleeing suspect entered and take him into custody. The driver was identified as Lakendrick Scroggins (9-30-95).

Scroggins was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Flight from an officer and one count of resisting.

No injuries were reported. We are required to remind you that suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
