Fall is finally here and it's about time to really get down with some comfort food... like gumbo! Not that gumbo isn't good year-round, because it absolutely is!

This Saturday, October 12th, 2019, is the 3rd Annual Northwest Louisiana Battle for the Paddle Gumbo Cook-off and Festival on the Logansport Riverfront. Not only will teams rally together and give you the chance to taste their signature gumbo dishes, but there will also be performances by The Voice finalist, Louisiana native, Gyth Rigdon and local favorites, Lucas Jagneaux & the Road Show. Other event features include raffles, cooking demonstrations and a fireworks show to close the event. I'll also be there to judge the best bowl of gumbo around!

Tickets are just $10.00, but we gave you a chance to win a four-pack of tickets on us so you could join in on the fun. Plus, you can feel good about attending, because proceeds from the event benefit the Krewes of Demeter and Aquarius and the Logansport Lighting and Festival Committee.

So, without further ado, it's time to announce our lucky Kiss Country ticket winners! Congrats to both Tyler Munroe and Tawsha Munroe. Thank you so much for playing and (of course) for listening to Kiss Country!
