Search on Red River for a Man Who Jumped from Texas Street Bridge

Shreveport police and fire crews along with the Marine unit from the Caddo Sheriff's office are searching the Red River for a man who apparently jumped from the Texas Street bridge.

An off-duty Caddo deputy saw the man jump from the bridge. The man was believed to be in his 20s and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is in the water searching for the man. The Bossier Sheriff's Office, Shreveport and Bossier fire departments and Shreveport and Bossier City police departments are assisting with the search.
