Registration for the 2014 Duck Commander Independence Bowl youth football clinic has closed, as 400 children have signed up to participate.

The free clinic – set for this Saturday, June 14, from 8-11:30 a.m. at Independence Stadium for children ages 5-13 – will feature instruction from college coaches from universities across the region, including ULM, LSU, Grambling State, Mississippi Valley State, East Texas Baptist and Louisiana College. Former Louisiana Tech kicker Matt Nelson will also be offering instruction at the clinic.

Former Parkway High School standout and current LSU freshman quarterback Brandon Harris, along with LSU freshman running back Leonard Fournette, will be the keynote speakers for the clinic.

Participants will receive a free t-shirt and lunch.
