Mike Burleson's wife, Amber, thinks so much of him that she paused everything she was doing for a few minutes to tell us about this amazing guy with whom she gets to do life.

Of course, when you see just awesome Mike truly is, you'll understand just why Amber is pretty sure he hung the moon.

I would love to tell the world about my husband even though he never looks for recognition. I don’t say it nearly enough, but he is truly one of the most incredible people I know. He is the kind of person who shows up, not just physically, but emotionally and wholeheartedly. Whether it’s for me, our family, or a friend in need, he gives without expecting anything in return. Anyone who knows Mike knows he is always a phone call away. A year ago, one of our son’s friends went missing. Without hesitation, my husband jumped in his truck to drive around looking. His strength is quiet but steady. His sense of humor brightens even the dullest days and his love is the kind that makes you believe in all the good this world has to offer. What makes him so amazing isn’t just the big gestures but the little things he does every day. It’s the way he listens, supports, encourages, and makes others feel valued. He’s thoughtful, grounded, dependable, and one of the most genuine souls I’ve ever met. In a world that often moves too fast, he slows down and pays attention to what truly matters. His kids are his world and he is at every event cheering them on and always looking for things to help and encourage them to be good, successful people. I am beyond grateful to share my life with someone who makes it richer, fuller, and filled with so much love. So if you’re ever wondering what good looks like in a person, it looks a lot like my husband.
