The Marshall Elks Lodge #683 is gearing up for the 2020 Party for the Cause Benefit. Party for the Cause is their annual fundraiser and those funds are much-needed as the Elks do so much in the community.

Some programs hosted by Marshall Elks include; Student of the Month (8 High Schools Participate – Marshall, Harleton, Waskom, Ore City, Hallsville, Elysian Fields, New Diana & Tatum), Scholarships for High School Seniors,Back to School Bash for Kids of All Ages, Community Baby Shower, Hoop Shoot, Coats for Kids, Free Children’s Summer Camp for Kids and Special Grant Program offered to children with Special Needs, Drug Awareness Education for Parents & Students, Veterans and First Responders Breakfast, on-going partnerships with local youth organizations such as Marshall High School Jr. ROTC, Boy's and Girl's Club of the Big Pines, Harrison County 4-H / Waskom Archery and Harleton Shooting Sports.

In the past the Party for the Cause has been a true party with a live band, dancing, food and so forth. But this year they've decided to change things up a bit and are going with a live game show/ game night, so this year's event is actually entitled "Party for the Cause Presents, Game Night Git Down." They're hoping you will join them Saturday, May 9 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Marshall Convention Center for “game show” style games, raffles, silent auction, catered meal, music and much more. Everyone will have the opportunity to play games and win awesome prizes with lucky contestants advancing to the finale “showcase game” to wrap up the night.

The event is an adults only event (18 and up). Tickets are $30 per person for general admission (includes entry, meal and tickets to play games) or we have reserved tables available. Tables are $400 they include reserved seating and meals for 8 people, tickets to play games, a special thank you gift made just for the table sponsor, 1 entry into a game just for tables sponsors (prize will be a custom fire pit from Second to None Fabrication valued at $1,000.00) and social medial and press exposure before and during the event.
