David Gonzalez just purchased an old abandoned home in Elbow Lake, Minnesota for $10,100.  It was his plan to remodel and flip the house like he's done so many other times.

However, the walls of this old home had been filled with newspaper as a sort of insulation, so he went to work busting down the walls to fix that problem.  And right there in the midst of all that newspaper was a comic book . . . the most valuable comic book of all time.

According to Gawker.com, what David found was a copy of Action Comics Number One from 1938, which is the first appearance of SUPERMAN.  In mint condition, it's worth at least $2 MILLION.

This one however, was already in pretty poor condition . . . and even that got quickly  worse after David's in-laws got excited about David's find and tried to grab it out of his hands.  In the process, they tore it . . . which knocked another $75,000 off the value.

It's still extremely valuable though.  Right now, in an online auction, the bidding is already over $135,000 and there's still about three weeks to go.  That's over ten times more than David paid for the house.
