Major Accident On I-20 In Shreveport Has Traffic Shut Down

Just before 6:00 am this morning, Monday, February 5, Shreveport Police and Fire responded to a terrible accident that has traffic at a complete gridlock.

On I-20 West, just west of the Pines Road interchange, a number of Shreveport Police and Fire Department units are on the scene of a major accident involving injuries.

According to 511la.org, the accident involves an overturned semi-trailer and all west bound lanes are blocked.

As indicated in these pictures, traffic has come to complete stop on I-20 West in western Shreveport and on the I-220 exit ramp to I-20 west.

Additionally, any traffic attempting to exit 3132, Terry Bradshaw Passway to I-20 West has also been halted.
