It might not be a stretch to announce the best teams in both the NFL and the NCAA reside right here in Louisiana.

For LSU fans and Saints fans, this football season could not be going any better. Everything is lining up just right for us, and I don't think I can remember a time with both teams were on top at the same time.

LSU took on Auburn this weekend, and for a short period of time, LSU fans might have been just a little nervous. The offense wasn't quite as explosive as they've been all season, but luckily for us, LSU and QB Joe Burrow turned it on when it mattered the most, winning 23-20.

The Saints, on the other hand, started their game against the Cardinals with their foot on the gas and they never let up. Fueled by a returning Drew Brees, the Saints dominated the Cardinals for four quarters, winning 31-9.  The Saints won without their star running back Alvin Kamara, who should be joining Brees back on the field after their bye week.

Hears to hoping the good times keep rolling for us football fans in Louisiana!
