LSU Bama Tickets Pricey to Say the Least

It's not just the game of the century, it's the rematch of the century and the first time two SEC teams have faced each other in a national championship bowl game.

The LSU Tigers, with their perfect season, take on rival Alabama Crimson Tide in the BCS Championship Game. The game that will decide the national champ is set for Monday, January 9th at the Superdome in New Orleans.

Game time is 7:30 pm with pregame at 5:30 and the game will air on Today's Hit Country Kiss Country 93-7's sister station, AM 1130, KWKH for free.

You'll recall the first LSU/Bama regular season game on November 5th was all that and more. It couldn't have been any closer, with LSU winning in T-Town by a field goal in overtime. One for the defensive game record books.

Alabama missed four field goals in that game.

I personally think this game will be totally different from the first, not nearly as close and more offensive. Because of Alabama's quarterback situation with sophomore A.J. McCarron prone to turn the ball over, (whether it's fumbling on the goal line and giving Auburn 7 points just like that, or throwing interceptions to LSU and Tennessee), this is a weakness for Bama.

Compare Alabama's lackluster kicking game to LSU's Brad Wing's 50 yard punts, and Drew Alleman's winning record at kicking field goals and you have an LSU victory. I"m picking LSU by 7 or 14 points, say 21-14, or 28-7.
There actually will be touchdowns scored in this game!
One thing is for sure, the LSU vs. Alabama BCS Championship game is truly a reflection of the top two teams in the country, and promises to illustrate smash-mouth football at its finest.
But can you get a ticket? Yes, but it's going to cost you and you're going to have to act fast because these are some of the most in demand tickets of all time.
If you can find them online you can expect to pay over $1000 perhaps even $2000 plus which could easily eclipse the price of Super Bowl Tickets!

Or you can watch it on TV for free. It's on ESPN, but I'd suggest turning down the volume on the television and turning up your radio, because TV sports announcers are the worst, especially Brent Mustardburger.
