This week we get the story of our Kiss Country Service Member from Mike Rich, who holds his family's military heritage in the highest regard and understandably so.  He's especially proud of his Dad, US Army Retired Cecil Rich.

Every male member of my family has served in the Armed Forces going back through history. Even my uncles and grand fathers all the way back to the beginning when they first came to America.

My dad served 21 years in the Army. He spent 2 tours in Vietnam. He was an E-7 when he retired. He was always there for us and still is. He raised us kids to do things right the first time so we didn't have to go back and do it again. He taught us to respect everyone and everything. He is a family oriented man. When other soldiers went to clubs and stuff, my dad came home after work, to spend time with us. My dad went to Vietnam with the First Cavalry and one of my brothers, Jim, went to Desert Storm with the First Cavalry. My dad took us camping and taught us how to do things to better ourselves in life. My family honors and salutes every service member.
