Kiss Country Listener Needs Advice

We received an email this week from a confused young man. His friend has put him in an extremely awkward position that could cost him his job. Check out his email and put in your two cents. He wishes to remain anonymous, but he will be reading your comments and says "thank you" in advance.

My best friend recently got me a job at a supermarket. I've been looking for a job for over a year. This past weekend, I caught my friend stealing from the store. When I confronted him, he laughed and said it's no big deal. A security camera may have caught both of us on film. Should I keep my mouth shut and say nothing about the theft or should I bring it up to management? I don’t want to lose my friend or my job.
