Kim Landaiche Is This Week’s Recipient of the Caught in the Act Award

We can check that off the list. We made someone else cry on the radio. But, as it always happens, these were tears of joy!

When Kim Landaiche heard what her daughter, Caroline Reno, had to say about her, Kim balled like a little girl. And right fully so.

See, Kim had no idea that Caroline had been paying attention to those amazing acts of kindness that Kim exhibits on a regular basis. But indeed she has! And because she wants the world to know just how incredible her Mom is, she wrote to tell us.

And it was that letter that made it so easy to name Kim this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Just look at all the reasons why.

Kim is my Mom and I can’t think of a more caring person than her! She is a mom of 4 plus a business owner and never stops giving. Not only to her family, but to others around her. She is not the kind of person that wants to be glorified for doing a good deed. She does it when she thinks no one is looking because, she has a heart of gold! Recently we were in Dallas and saw a lady lying on the side walk sleeping. It was hot outside so being the person she is, she buys the lady a water and checks on her. Also, I will never forget the time we went to church and after we go to CVS and she notices the guy sitting in front of us at church has walked a long way down Airline Drive. Without a doubt she pulls over and offers him a ride and takes him where he asked. Or the time with saw a man in Shreveport with a sign that said “I am hungry and need food.” So we drive through Wendy’s and take him food! I could go on and on about all the good she has done when she thought no one was paying attention. I am so glad I have been able to witness the amazing, caring woman she is! She is such a blessing to me and others! I am so thankful to have such a great role model like her!

Kim Landaiche, thank you for being so amazing! You are a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live! And because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner!
