Kellie Pickler Named Prom Queen on Prom Night Episode of ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Kellie Pickler continues to wow judges on "Dancing With the Stars"! This week during an episode that focused on prom night, the country singer once again showed off her dancing skills with partner Derek Hough.

The pair did a jive dance to the upbeat "Footloose" that instantly got the crowd cheering and clapping along. But during practice for the strenuous performance, Pickler and Hough talked about the pressures that come with being continuously high-marked competitors.

"We're near the top of the leaderboard which is awesome, but it's early in the competition so we got to try maintain that," said Hough.

"Jive is such quick movements, that's the tough part," said Pickler. "I'm just trying to keep up."

The country star also revealed she came up with a name for the distinct face Hough makes when he's unsatisfied with her performance.

"He looks irritated, like a mad wasp," joked Pickler, adding "As long as Derek doesn't do the wasp face during the performance tonight, I know I did good."

Turns out, Hough had no reason to use his "mad wasp face" last night. The pair earned the highest score of the night from the judges: 25 points.
