Jordan Davis is a local Shreveport boy who's doing extremely well in Nashville these days.  Arguably he's one of the hottest up and coming stars in country music at this point.  And the fact that he's from right here makes him even more lovable to all of us.

And to show case Shreveport, he's released a series of YouTube videos entitled "Home State Stories."  Included in the series, he highlights his early days hanging out at the Shreveport Elks' Club, the street where all his friends lived, his bedroom that he shared with brother, Jacob Davis, and, what's got to be one of the funniest videos on the internet, he shows us the "The Jeep."

It's a 1969 Jeep Wagoneer that Jordan and Jacob took to Byrd High School during their school years.  In fact, the video begins with Jordan betting $20 that the old girl won't even start.  Well, it did start, and even though it looks like the brakes were "iffy" at best, he made a block and then discovered that actually getting out of the Jeep brought on a whole new set of problems.

Dad, Ricky Davis, comes to his rescue in true redneck fashion with a pair of vice-grips and the right "combination" to get Jordan out.

You've gotta watch the video all the way to the end for the full effect of the hilarity.  Some good stuff!  And Jordan, thank you for remembering who you are and certainly where you came from.  You've definitely made us proud!
