Joe Nichols Fired From His DJ Job [VIDEO]

Waayyyy back in the day, Joe Nichols was an overnight DJ on a Country Music station, until he played one too many Merle Haggard songs and ultimately got the axe.

As DJ's, we, just like you, have certain songs and artists that we love and a few that we don't. But, as professional broadcasters, we have to be fair and act as democratically as possible when playing music. Poor Joe Nichols learned the hard way that you can't just play whatever you want on a radio station. In the end, it worked out okay for him though, don't you think?
