Joan spends her long days loving on her students at LearningRx and is never afraid to take things to the next level for those kids, and that's exactly what makes her so special and the perfect person to be named this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

Her friend and co-worker, Donesa Walker nominated Joan and her letter made our choice for this week's award a simple one!

Joan is the assistant director at LearningRx Shreveport. She is the mother of 10 children naturally but 100s by way of LearningRx. At 70 years of age, Joan still works 8-10 hour days loving on kids of all ages and brain training. Joan has worked at LearningRx for 11 years. Joan is always the one to go the extra mile for her colleagues and her clients. Recently a tornado hit our building and Joan kept the students safe and made sure each one received personal transportation home as their patients couldn't get to our center due to damage in the area. All of us at LearningRx want to be like Joan when we grow up!

Joan Emerson, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you and the family to come have dinner.

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Joan to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
