Caught in the Act: Jerry Greer Honored

I'd be willing to bet that when our Creator looks down at Jerry Greer, that's exactly what happens.

He has to grin from ear to ear at his good work.

And thank goodness that Tonya Taylor took the time to tell us about Jerry or we might not have known about this incredible soul.

Just read the nomination letter she submitted and you'll see how easy it was to name Jerry this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

Jerry has no end to his good works. Most recently, 2 of his neighbors lost their wives. For years Jerry watched both neighbors lovingly take precious care of their beautiful lawns and stepped in once life changed for them knowing how heavy their loss was for them. Tonight Jerry has both men at church so they can experience the love of our community and creator. Jerry is the MOST SELFLESS human I've ever known and I'm lucky enough to be his step daughter which I don't deserve! I've never heard him complain about anything, even when he had 4 teenage headaches giving him grief. He has stepped in as loving Dad, husband, brother, poppaw, friend, neighbor, and stranger you have ever been graced to encounter. Jerry loves as Jesus does and that's an impressive kind of love. I could go on and on with the goodness he's done. He is rarely repaid for his acts of kindness so I really hope he's able to receive this gift!
