Janice Mohawk Is Kiss Country’s Latest to be Caught in the Act
Ever talk to someone on the phone and just hearing the uplifting, positive spirit in their voice made you feel better?

That's exactly what happened to us this morning when we were blessed to call Janice Mohawk. What a beautiful soul!
Kacee Volentine told us about Janice and we are so thankful for it! Janice's Christian spirit, her love, support, and genuine caring are what we are celebrating this week!
Just look at what Kacee wrote about Janice and you'll see just how easy it was to name her this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.
Mrs. Janice was truly born to be a Pre-K teacher, the best example of love and kindness whose heart shines brighter than words can capture. Over the past eight months, she has poured her soul into our children’s lives, teaching them not just the alphabet or numbers, but to embody kindness, respect, and love—just as Jesus does. She is more than just a daycare provider; she is a nurturing angel who goes far beyond what anyone could ever expect. She kisses scraped knees, mends shattered hearts, and greets each precious child with the warmest, most genuine smile every single morning. She checks on them when they are sick, attends their soccer games and supports them inside and outside of that classroom. My daughter has been blessed to be under her care since last May, and every day I find myself asking Mrs. Janice "how much would it cost for me to hire you to homeschool her next year for Kindergarten"? Every day with Mrs. Janice is a new adventure, a moment made magical in its own special way. Whether it's football Fridays, taco Tuesdays, or little surprises she thoughtfully creates, so much of what makes these moments so extraordinary comes straight from her heart and most days her own pocket. She treats each child as the unique individual they are, while guiding them to become caring, compassionate classmates. There are no negative words I could ever speak about her, only deep gratitude and admiration. The thought of August coming so soon and of my baby girl no longer being with her, brings tears to my eyes. I am certain every parent in that classroom feels the same profound love and respect for her and what she does.
Janice Mohawk, because you've been 'Caught in the Act', the gang at the Magnolia Pit have a $50 gift certificate for you to come enjoy a great meal!
Take a listen to the phone call we made to Janice to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
