'American Idol' Top 9 Revealed: See Who Stayed and Who Went Home

Two more American Idol hopefuls were eliminated on Monday night (April 13) after voters saved a singer judges thought might be giving up.

With the Top 9 now decided, here is who is left on America's most popular singing reality show.

Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie returned as judges for Season 24 of American Idol.
New episodes air on Monday nights at 8PM ET on ABC.
Jamal Roberts won Season 23 of American Idol.

This week was Rock and Roll Hall of Fame night, and new inductees were honored and present.

Underwood delivered a scorching performance of "Rebel Yell" with Class of 2026 member Billy Idol.

Contestants then chose a rock song to perform, and all 11 remaining finalists selected well know hits. Not everyone nailed it, however.

Jordan McCullough's Queen cover (see below) was particularly effective, but Daniel Stallworth and Rae also earned praise.

Fans vote, however, which means those compliments aren't worth a whole lot.

In the end, it turned out America disagreed.

Who Went Home on American Idol?

Monday's (April 13) episode of American Idol identified a Bottom 3: Rae, Philmon Lee and Kyndall Inskeep.

Smart betting would have put Lee and Inskeep on the chopping block, as both delivered flawed performances. Lee sang Foreigner's "Hot Blooded," but his performance was panned.

Inskeep admitted to having significant vocal struggles before singing Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart," and afterward Underwood told her it was as if she was giving up on herself.

This was said with love, as the country icon wanted to reminder how talented she was vocally. It turns out she'll get another chance.

Philmon Lee and Rae were sent home on American Idol Monday night.
