Taco Wars Takes Over Shreveport Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, April 27th.

Saturday from 12 pm to 8 pm you can check out an epic taco competition and taste your way through the tacos and salsas on display. The best part is that admission is free and you can purchase tickets to try the tacos and salsa when you get there.

14 different eateries will show up to claim the title for the coveted Golden Taco and Golden Molcajete battle.

Several celebrity judges will determine the Best Taco winner. We all love a delicious salsa and we don't have to be a celebrity judge to crown the best salsa winner, we get to vote with our tastebuds oh, and a voting coin. Everyone who attends the festival will be able to sample salsas for free and vote.

This year there will be an expanded Kid’s Area and live music from Los Rancheritos and mariachi band, Los Reyes de Mexico. Who doesn't want a fun day to celebrate Latin culture and eat all the best tacos and salsas the area has to offer?

If you go to it says "Taco Wars is the Ark-La-Tex’s biggest taco festival, featuring local taquerias plus treat vendors and live music! This year, taquerias will compete for Best Taco and Best Salsa and you get to experience it all."
