Have You Ever Heard of Louisiana Grandstand?

Louisiana Grandstand is changing the music scene in Shreveport-Bossier. Up until I experienced a concert at Louisiana Grandstand I had no idea that this building that was built in 1925 had been a music venue. There is so much musical history in this building.

Louisiana Grand Stand Is Inviting Us All to Be Part of 'Live Revue'.

Thursday, March 28th at 7:00 pm we get to be part of something epic in our community. It is a night where we see some of the best artists from the Ark-La-Tex. Some people claim that it is giving all the Louisiana Hayride vibes. We are hoping that is the case how cool would it be to see a revival like that in our town? Tickets are going quick for Thursday night's show. You can get your 'Live Revue' at the Grandstand tickets by clicking here.

What can you expect from a venue like Louisiana Grandstand? It is an intimate experience and truly one of the best concerts experiences in Shreveport-Bossier. My friend even agreed that even though the venue is smaller than he is used to it is incredible.

The venue makes you feel like you have traveled back in time with the intimate concert venue and easy access to the performers.

The building was built at the corner of Line Avenue and Margaret Place in the Highland area. According to the venue's website; "The building was erected in 1925 as the clubhouse for the Woman's Department Club. The house known as the "Lady on Line" was born of the successful suffrage movement. Prominent ladies in the community dedicated their time & effort to create a club focused on growing educational and equality opportunities for women in the area."

"The Louisiana Grandstand theater holds boasting rights alongside the famous Strand Theater in downtown as the two oldest theaters in current day Shreveport/Bossier. The venue has hosted lectures and performances by historical figures like Robert Frost, Katharine Hepburn and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. Today, the theater sits in almost pristine condition with an excellent space for an elevated - but intimate - musical and performance experience."
