Louisiana is Ready to Shine in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

When your family sits down to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Thanksgiving morning, make sure to keep an eye out for Louisiana's special Celebration Gator float!
Why should folks from Louisiana watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?
That's easy! No one does parades better than Louisiana and we'll prove it again this year with the return of Louisiana's 'Celebration Gator' float that will be making another appearance this year. Over the last two years of participation in the annual parade, Lt. Governor Bill Nungesser reports that Louisiana has received exposure to the tune of 6.4 BILLION viewers. You can't pay for advertising like that... Literally. The estimated value of the coverage is a whopping $61 Million!
This time around, Louisiana's 60-foot Celebration Gator float will feature Louisiana fiddler Amanda Shaw and Alexandria, Louisiana's own country music artist Alex Smith. Yep, they're bringing the 'Bootshake' to NYC!
Of course, Louisiana knows a thing or two about parades and our Celebration Gator is easily the longest float in the parade and will appear to crawl down the street while wagging its tail and blowing confetti out of its mouth! On top of that, Louisiana's newest float is scheduled for an appearance at the upcoming Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena on January 1st, 2024.
