Shreveport Police have charged two men following a shooting that happened on October 3rd near Youree Drive and East Dalzelle Avenue.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired and quickly began locating evidence associated with the incident. Officers stopped a vehicle leaving the area and discovered Cadarius Bumcon suffering from three gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A short time later, another man contacted SPD and reported his involvement in the shooting.
Detectives determined that Bumcon and Deangelo Robinson had allegedly followed the individual while he was making Uber deliveries. Investigators determined that the encounter eventually led to an exchange of gunfire after Bumcon and Robinson allegedly fired at the individual's vehicle and he returned fire.

Violent Crimes investigators then worked to collect all the evidence, interview those involved, and establish the sequence of events.
Investigators recovered several shell casings, along with a ski mask, gloves, and other evidence. During a subsequent interview, Robinson admitted to his involvement after being advised of his Miranda rights. Bumcon declined to provide a statement.
Based on the investigation, Bumcon and Robinson were both charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder.
