
Shreveport Police Searching for Violent Abuse Suspect

SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police seek public assistance in locating suspect wanted in violent domestic dispute
Detectives with the Shreveport Police Domestic Violence Unit are seeking the public's assistance in locating twenty-nine-year-old Rodrick Hicks. Hicks is wanted in connection with a violent domestic incident that occurred on January 26, 2024, in the 1600 block of St. Landry Street.
During the incident, Hicks is accused of committing acts of violence against a female victim who was holding an infant in her arms. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that the victim had sustained injuries as a result of the assault.
Warrants have been issued for Hicks' arrest on the following charges:
- - One count of domestic abuse battery by strangulation
- - Three counts of domestic abuse battery child endangerment
- - One count of simple criminal damage to property
