Shreveport Mini Mart Busted During a Gun and Drug Operation

Last week, Shreveport Police VCAT/VICE conducted a targeted buy-bust operation in an area known for shots-fired incidents.

SPD, Shreveport City Marshal’s Office, Louisiana State Police, and other agencies were able to send a VICE Agent in to the Hollywood Mini Mart, located at 3655 Hollywood Ave.

During the operation, the agent purchased narcotics from an employee, Derrick Taylor. Once the transaction was complete, officers moved in and took Taylor into custody.

Narcotics and firearms were found inside the store, and Taylor was transported to the Shreveport Police Jail for processing.
