SHREVEPORT, LA-  Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Unit makes arrest in First-Degree Rape Case

The Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Unit has arrested 37-year-old Christopher Christaw on one count of first-degree rape. The arrest follows a thorough investigation into a reported crime against an elderly female.

Christopher Christaw now faces serious charges, and if convicted, he could potentially face life imprisonment for this act. The Shreveport Police Department remains committed to ensuring justice for all victims of sexual violence and will continue to pursue perpetrators of such crimes.
