It seems as if the world has gone from "Maybe this coronavirus scare is overblown by the media" to "We've started planning for a possible coronavirus outbreak" pretty quickly over the last few days.

Luckily, officials in Texas and Louisiana are gearing up to test folks for possible infection right now.  Late last week, Texas Governor Greg Abbot announced that there would be 10 sites across the state would each be available and ready to test for the virus.

According to CBS19, each site would be able to screen up to 125 patients per day for coronavirus infection - with the closest to us being Tyler.  Add to that the testing facility in Baton Rouge that just cleared 8 folks after testing them for the disease, and it's clear to see that officials have us covered.

The best news is, there is no need to go to the testing sites themselves.  If you or your doctor suspect that you have been exposed to the virus, a sample is collected and sent to the closest lab.
